Our Authentication Process

Every timepiece undergoes a thorough authentication process before it is presented to a client. This includes serial number verification, detailed component inspection, movement assessment and a careful review of the watch’s originality, condition and provenance.

We look at the important details that help confirm the integrity of the watch, including its reference, components, bracelet, clasp, dial, case, movement, documentation and any supporting history where available.

Registered Watchmaker Review

All authentication is carried out by a registered watchmaker. This gives our clients confidence that each watch has been professionally assessed by someone with the experience and technical understanding required to inspect luxury timepieces properly.

Consignment Authentication

For watches accepted on consignment, the same level of care applies.

Before a consigned watch is offered to potential buyers, it is reviewed and authenticated so that both the seller and buyer can proceed with confidence. Our team will also appraise the watch based on its age, condition, presentation, included accessories and current market demand.

This helps establish a fair and informed value before the watch is presented for resale.

Independent Verification

For clients who would like an additional level of reassurance, we are happy to assist with independent verification by a qualified horologist of your choice.
