Warranty & Policies
At CD Swisstime, we aim to provide a clear, professional and reliable experience when buying or selling a luxury timepiece. The following policies outline our approach to warranty, returns, shipping, payments, authenticity and general terms.
Warranty Coverage
If a timepiece is still covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, this will be stated where applicable.
For watches no longer covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, CD Swisstime provides a 3-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty is intended to cover internal mechanical issues that may arise under normal use, including inaccurate timekeeping or internal movement-related faults.
Any warranty claim must be reviewed and assessed before approval. If a watch requires inspection, CD Swisstime may request that the timepiece be returned or presented for assessment by an approved or registered watchmaker.
What Is Not Covered
The CD Swisstime warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, accidents, water exposure, improper handling, magnetic exposure, unauthorised repairs or modifications.
The warranty also does not cover general wear and tear or external components, including but not limited to the case, bracelet, clasp, crown, bezel, crystal, dial, hands, seals, straps or cosmetic marks.
Any work carried out by an unauthorised third party may void the warranty.
Returns & Change of Mind
CD Swisstime does not offer refunds for change of mind.
At our discretion, we may offer store credit if a watch has been purchased, remains unworn, and is returned in exactly the same condition as delivered. All original accessories, boxes, papers, links, tags and documentation must also be returned where applicable.
Approved returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee, as well as recovery of shipping and insurance costs. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return of the watch or accessory.
All returns must be approved by CD Swisstime before any item is sent back.
Shipping
CD Swisstime currently offers domestic shipping within Australia.
Most domestic deliveries arrive within 1 to 3 business days once dispatched, although delivery times may vary for rural or regional areas.
High-value watches are shipped securely and insured where applicable. Tracking information will be provided once the order has been dispatched.
At this stage, CD Swisstime does not offer international shipping.
Payments
CD Swisstime currently accepts payment by cash or direct bank transfer only.
For bank transfers, watches will only be released or dispatched once funds have successfully cleared in our account. Processing times may vary depending on the bank.
Authenticity
Every watch offered by CD Swisstime is carefully reviewed before being made available for sale.
Our authentication process includes serial number verification, detailed component inspection and provenance review. Authentication is carried out by a registered watchmaker to ensure the timepiece meets the standard expected by luxury watch buyers.
For additional peace of mind, clients may request independent verification by a qualified horologist of their choice, where suitable.
Product Condition
Many of the watches we offer are pre-owned. Each timepiece is sold in its current condition and will be described as accurately as possible based on our inspection and available information.
We make every effort to clearly communicate the condition, working order, included accessories and documentation before purchase. Minor signs of wear may be present unless otherwise stated.
